Jay Chou’s camp has denied rumours that his Tianjin concert was temporarily interrupted due to an incident with a concert prop.
As reported on Mingpao, netizens recently shared online a photo of the singer sitting down and bowing his head, saying that the Taiwanese multi-hyphenate was experiencing a problem with a stage prop in a form of a rotating iron ball.
They stated that he was trapped in it for 20 minutes and that the confined space coupled with the hot weather had made him uncomfortable enough that he had to interrupt the performance for a moment.
In response to the news, JVR Music explained that the supposed incident with the iron ball had not happened as it was alleged.
“Our company clarifies that this is false and that it has nothing to do with the organiser. There is nothing wrong with Jay’s health. Thank you to all the fans for your concern and please rest assure.”
It is noted that Jay had addressed the situation with fans at the concert, saying that his heartbeat was beating very fast that he wasn’t able to control it.
