Sunshine Cruz recently shared an ambiguous post, seemingly to hint about her current status following rumours of breakup with boyfriend Macky Mathay.
On 9 October, the actress posted a quote on Instagram that read, “Some people are only meant to stay in your heart, not in your life”.
She wrote, “People come and go, it may be hard to understand why things happen unexpectedly. For some of us, letting go of someone you loved with all your heart can definitely give us so much pain and sadness but in life, there are some things we cannot control.”
“What matters is the lesson we learned, the love that was shared and the wonderful memories that will always be in our hearts. Life goes on,” she added.
It was just last month that Sunshine sparked rumours of breakup after netizens noticed that she and Macky have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
While Macky did appear at Sunshine’s party for her daughter Sam’s 18th birthday in August, he was noticeably absent from Sunshine’s eldest daughter Angelina’s 21st birthday event last month.
The two have been together since 2016 and celebrated their fifth anniversary in September last year.
