The father of dancer Mo, who has been in ICU since the stage accident that occurred during the MIRROR concert last week, recently assured that his son is doing much better.
In his second letter of prayer released on 7 August, Pastor Lee Shing Lam stated that Mo (real name Lee Kai-Yin) has already regained consciousness and is able to communicate in simple words.
“In the future, he will need everyone’s prayers and encouragement. I hope that under the grace of God, he will have the opportunity to recover as soon as possible, to meet everyone and step on the stage again,” he added.
Pastor Lee also thanked the medical team for their treatment and care, which helped his son see light in the crisis, as well as members of the public for their blessings, and the coordination of relevant government departments who eased his application for compassionate visits during the quarantine period.
At the same time, he hopes for the people in charge to further strengthen the safety of performers.
The Canadian dancer was crushed under a giant video screen that fell down during a performance at MIRROR’s recent concert late last month. He has been in the ICU ever since.
