Despite it being a month already since she accepted her Best Actress award at the TVB Anniversary Awards, Rosina Lam recently admitted that she has yet to have a proper celebration for her victory.
In an interview with Mingpao recently, the actress, who won for her performance in “The Battle of Seven Sisters”, stated that she has been busy filming her new drama as well as making sure not to socialise too much due to the pandemic.
“I received a lot of congratulatory messages from seniors like Wayne Lai, Roger Kwok, and Charmaine Sheh, and I was very moved. But I have been busy filming and even had to shoot all night the next day,” she said.
Luckily, she has friends like Joel Chan and Nancy Wu who helped her to organise a small party.
As for cousin Raymond Lam, Rosina said the actor and wife Carina Zhang sent their congratulatory message, but that even the actor is too busy to celebrate with her.
Rosina said, however, that she was moved by her husband, who has been silently supporting her, while her mother also wept with joy for her success.
“My mum didn’t approve of me becoming an actor. But when I called her to announce the good news, I can feel that she was very excited,” she said.
At this stage, the actress said that she will concentrate on work and put her plan to have children on hold.
