Wu Chun and his family of four recently celebrated their joint birthdays by donating to the frontliners in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor, whose birthday falls on 10th October, has been celebrating his birthday with the rest of the family since both he and his daughter Nei Nei are born on the same date, while wife Lin Liying and son share the same birth date of 11 October.
Said the Brunei-born singer, the family of four secretly gave one another DIY birthday gifts, with his wife baking cakes, he himself made LEGO, while Max and Nei Nei made cards for the medical frontliners to encourage them.
“All these are the power of love. With them, I wake up every morning with excitement, full of motivation and full of love. Thank you very much for your blessings. Togetherness is always the best birthday gift,” he wrote.
The family of four later went to the Ministry of Health, Jerudong Park Medical Centre, and Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre to donate 1,000 sets of medical-grade personal protective equipment (PPE) including face shields and boot covers.
“We are grateful to be able to support Brunei’s first responders and medical professionals, who are the heroes on the frontlines battling the unseen enemy with this PPE donations,” the singer stated.
