Alex Fong has recently dismissed the idea that he and ex-girlfriend Stephy Tang could rekindle their romance now that the actress has ended her relationship with Taiwanese singer, Prince Chiu.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at a social campaign event recently, stated that he did feel protective of Stephy upon hearing the news of her breakup, but not more than that.
“There is no other feeling. We don’t have that relationship. She doesn’t even follow me on Instagram. I am a fan of hers, not a good friend,” he said.
However, Alex said that he would be happy if the two of them could cooperate again in a future project.
On the other hand, the actor revealed that he will be setting off to Japan to cover the Tokyo Olympics on 16 July.
“I planned to stay for a few days afterwards, but then thought about the quarantine that I have to go through. I have to return to Hong Kong to work because many people signed up for the swimming academy during the summer vacation, so I decided to dispel the idea,” he said.
