It looks like the possibility for the US to have President The Rock is getting better and better, after a recent poll revealed that 46 percent of Americans would support a presidential run from wrestler-turned-Hollywood star, Dwayne Johnson.
The actor, who shared a Newsweek article that mentioned the said poll on his Instagram account, also expressed his thoughts on the whole presidential run, stating that it was very humbling.
“I don’t think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club – but if it ever happens it’d be my honour to serve you, the people,” he said.

On the other hand, celebrity friend and “Captain America” star Chris Evans has an idea of who could be a potential running mate – himself.
“Have you thought about a running mate?” he jokingly asked in the comments section.
Johnson has had expressed his interest in politics several times in the past, saying that the notion could be a real possibility in the future.
“I feel like I’m in a position now where my word carries a lot of weight and influence, which of course is why they want the endorsement,” he said.
