Although it is still a month to go before the Hong Kong Film Awards, Francis Ng is already convinced he will not be winning Best Actor at the upcoming event.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who is nominated for his role in the sleeper hit, “Men on the Dragon”, is confident that he will lose to Anthony Wong’s “head”, referring to the fact that the latter plays a wheelchair-bound man in “Still Human”.
“Just from Anthony’s scent, I already knew that I would lose. I am sure of it. As for me, I would be happy if everybody is happy,” he said.
When mentioned Francis’ opinion about the Best Actor category, Anthony laughed and said that he is acting only with his head, but Francis used his whole body to row a dragon boat.
“I haven’t seen the movie, but I have an experience with dragon boats, so I knew he must have been amazing in that movie,” he said.
The two stars will also be competing with Aaron Kwok and Chow Yun Fat (“Project Gutenberg”), and Philip Keung (“Tracey”).
