We can never say no to an icy cold beer, but what’s even better than beer is when its paired with awesome Malaysian food!

Thanks to Tiger Beer Malaysia, a street food festival is set to take place this coming 1st and 2nd December 2018 called the Uncage Street Food Festival and it’s one not to be missed by food (and beer lovers everywhere) .

Bring all your friends to the Uncage Street Food Festival!

Among the vendors expected at the event is myBurgerLab, The Porki Society, Ticklish Ribs & ‘Wiches, Pho King and Makirito.

That’s not all, at the media preview event held recently, we got to meet the three Malaysian uncaged heroes who brought over their very own creative takes of street food; Im Cheah, Herukh Jethwani and Jun Chan unveiled their very own culinary masterpieces that will also be available at the upcoming food festival.

Im of Bacon It introduced her bacon and sambal ikan bilis popcorn, bacon and gula melaka popcorn, as well as ‘Going Bananas Over Bacon’, a dessert dish comprising of pisang goreng with rum gula melaka sauce paired with bacon vanilla ice cream.

Bacon ice-cream and pisang goreng?!
These unique popcorn flavours are a must try at the Uncage Street Food Festival.
Herukh of Meet The Porkers restaurant, cooked up mini tandoori pork ribs tacos as well as his famous Siew Yoke Briyani.

Let’s ‘taco’ about Tandoori pork ribs tacos!
Siew Yoke Briyani.

Jun created an interesting ramen burger with Tiger Beer cheddar cheese sauce and a laksa reminiscent dish called ‘Main Bola’, consisting of ramen, egg plant, minced brisket meatball with sweet potato gravy, ayam kampong egg topped with salted egg crumble.

Jom, ‘Main Bola’.
Ramen burger is a juicy good mess.

Touted as a unique food experience as the chefs challenge local street food conventions with their creations, the Uncage Street Food Festival is one you shouldn’t miss this 1 & 2 December, at 15, Jalan 13/6, Petaling Jaya (behind The Gasket Alley).

Note: This is a non-halal event.
