K-pop fans in Malaysia ushered in September in quite a ‘K-tastic’ way last weekend, as they get to be in the company of girl group S.I.S not just for one day, or two, but three days!

The six-member Korean girl group was in the country for their “S.I.S First Charming Tour in Malaysia 2018”, which took place from 31 August to 2 September.

Leader J.Sun and her fellow S.I.S members Dal, Minzy, Gaeul, Anne and Sebin fully maximised their first time in Malaysia by touring four malls in the short but fun three days.
The girl group also held a press conference on 1 September at Cheras Leisure Mall, to talk about their first tour in the country and the upcoming music awards, New Hallyu Star Asean Music Awards.
“We’d like to win a Best Team Work award”, said the girls in response to the question regarding awards they wish to win, stating that they have a good team work and they would love it if others could see it too.
They also said that they are working on their second album now and will be performing songs from it at the upcoming awards show.

and blow out the candle on their first-year anniversary cake.

After the press conference, the girls were surprised with an event prepared by their Malaysian fans. The girls were all smiles at the sight of the cake being brought up on stage and smiled even wider when they found out it was to celebrate their first year anniversary.

The girls debuted under Double X Entertainment just over a year ago on 25 August.

S.I.S performed a total of five songs for their fans.

S.I.S later took a short break before returning to the stage. Local artist Aqeesh Aleeya opened for the K-Pop girl group, who then kicked off their performance stage with a cover of TWICE’s “What Is Love?”.

They followed it up with their own song “My Space” before stopping for a short Q&A session with the emcee.
Dal, who previously did a duet with G.O from MBLAQ, was asked who she would like to collaborate with next.
While her fans enthusiastically shouted out EXO member Baekhyun’s name, the singer chose a fellow female musician instead. “I’d like to do a duet with IU,” Dal replied with a smile.

Then, after the girls played the ‘Flip the Bottle’ game with six lucky fans, they switched from bottles to mics again and performed three more songs.

They sang their own song “Ah Ya”, followed by another TWICE cover, this time of the song “Signal, and wrapped up the show with their debut track, “I Have a Feeling”.
After that, the girls did fansign and selfie sessions with their fans.
Fans who could be facing major withdrawal symptoms after spending a long, fun weekend with S.I.S, fret not, you’ll get to see them again at the New Hallyu Star Asean Music Awards.
Also organised by YiPin Studio, the awards show is set to be held on 5 January 2019.
