Irish rock trio The Script is bringing their Freedom Child Tour to Southeast Asia in April 2018, with performances scheduled in Singapore, Philippines, and Thailand.
The tour is in support of their fifth studio album, “Freedom Child”, featuring the lead single “Rain” which made it into the UK Top 20 single chart.
This marks the band’s fourth visit to Singapore and Manila, and second visit to Bangkok. Their last Southeast Asia tour was in 2015 for their No Sound without Silence Tour.
Featuring lead vocalist and keyboardist Danny O’Donoghue, lead guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power, the band is known for hits like “The Man Who Can’t be Moved”, “Breakeven”, “Nothing”, “Hall of Fame”, and “Superheroes”.
The Southeast Asia will kick off in Singapore on 12 April 2018 at Singapore Indoor Stadium, and then in Philippines on 14 April at Mall of Asia, Manila.
After touring several cities in Australia and China, The Script will stop in Thailand on 28 April at Bangkok’s Impact Arena before heading to South Africa.
Tickets for the Manila leg ranges from PHP1,000 for General Admission to PHP12,000 for the VIP Experience Package, which will be available via smticket.com starting 7 November 2017.
Meanwhile, the Bangkok tickets start from THB2,000 and will go on sale from 28 January 2018 onwards via thaiticketmajor.com.
Tickets for the Singapore show will go on sale starting 13 November 2017 at sportshub.com.sg.
