Neo soul queen Erykah Badu is bringing her “Badu Vs Everything World Tour” to Philippines this October.
The Grammy-award winning singer will also make a few stops in Japan, before heading to Manila, which is currently the only Southeast Asian country included in the tour.
Badu was last seen in Southeast Asia in 2012 when she performed at the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta.
That same year, she was scheduled to perform in Malaysia but was banned by the local government due to a photo that was published in a local newspaper showing her with a temporary tattoo on her body with the Arabic word for “Allah”.
Marking her first visit to Philippines, the 46-year-old singer will be in the country on 14 October 2017 at Sofitel Manila @ Harbour Garden Tent, Manila.
Early bird tickets go on-sale tomorrow, 1 August via the event page with prices starting from PHP4,500 to PHP9,500.
