Former member and frontman of Irish boy band Westlife, Shane Filan is set to kick off his second world tour in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, to support his third album “Love Always”.
The 37-year-old singer-songwriter last visited Vietnam in 2014 when promoting his debut solo album, “You and Me”.
It is not known whether the singer will be adding more Asian dates to his world tour, but after Vietnam, he will then embark on a UK and Ireland tour in the autumn.
Shane started his music career as a member of the popular boy band Westlife in 1998, who has sold over 50 million records worldwide.
The group accumulated 14 number-one singles in the United Kingdom and achieved a total of 26 UK top ten singles over their 14-year career.
The boy band had performed in Vietnam in 2011 on their eleventh major global tour, right before their breakup in 2012.
The “Love Always Tour” will take place on 16 July 2017 at the Lan Anh Stadium.
Early bird tickets will be available on 11 June onwards via ticketbox.vn, going from VND540,000 to VND2,850,000, while standard tickets range from VND600,000 to VND3,000,000.
