Asia’s largest social media awards show, Influence Asia returns to Malaysia to honour the best of the best social media influencers in Asia.
Launched in 2015, the awards event is produced by Singapore-based influencer marketing network and marketing agency Gushcloud, and hosted by Korean digital marketing group Yello Digital Marketing (YDM), featuring more than 300 nominees from seven Asian countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea.
The second edition of Influence Asia will present performances by renowned Asian talents with former Girls’ Generation star Jessica Jung as the main headliner who will be performing some of her greatest hits from her two solo albums, “With Love, J”, and “Wonderland”, and is also the presenter for the main award, the Influencer Of The Year award!
“I’m very excited and thrilled to be back in Kuala Lumpur, this time for Influence Asia 2017. The digital era has played a very important role in exponentially generating the popularity of artists, as well as giving us the platform to engage with our fans. It is a privilege to be part of this show as a performer and an award presenter,” said Jessica Jung in a statement.
Apart from Jessica, the event will also welcome Singaporean rapper The Lion City Boy, Indonesian crooner Tulus, Vietnam’s pop prince Noo Phuoc Thinh, Malaysia’s “Supergirls” De Fam, and Southeast Asia supergroup Project E.A.R.
The awards that will be presented on the night include; YouTube Channel, YouTube Personality, Health and Fitness, Parenting, Food, Lifestyle, Beauty, Fashion, Breakout Influencer, Influencer’s Choice Awards, and the Influencer of the Year award.
The event will also feature award presenters who are top influencers in their various fields such as Carli Bybel, Shannon Harris, Sririta Jensen, Lily May Mac and Anis Nabilah and more.
Influence Asia 2017 will take place on 8 April 2017, 3 to 6.30pm at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
