Actress and TV personality Uny Chiu recently revealed that she has given birth to her first daughter in Malaysia.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who shared the good news online recently, revealed that she has named her daughter Natalie, which she said is derived from the Russian name Natalia, meaning “birthday” or “Christmas”.

As to why she gave birth in Malaysia, Uny revealed that she was working in the country and was preparing to return to Hong Kong when her water broke.
She was then rushed to a local hospital, and gave birth to her child there.
“The pain level was ten, it took me six hours to complete. The baby loves me, that’s why she didn’t want me to be in pain for so long,” she enthused.
Uny stated that she will be staying in Malaysia for a while before returning to Hong Kong with her baby. 
Back in September, she admitted she was expecting, although has no answer as to whether her boyfriend will be involved in taking care of the child.
