Legendary Californian heavy metal band Metallica has confirmed that they will include Singapore as part of their upcoming WorldWired Tour, in support of their tenth studio album, “Hardwired… to Self-Destruct”.
The Grammy-winning band posted on their official page:-
“Greetings from Latin America and the first leg of many WorldWired tour dates to come over the next few years! As you may have already seen, we are kicking off 2017 with a visit to our friends in Asia and we’re psyched that the latest addition to that run of the tour is Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on January 22, 2017.”
With a total of eight Grammy awards and over 110 million records sold worldwide, Metallica has been ranked as one of the most commercially successful bands of all time, and is also listed as one of the greatest artists of all time by many music magazines.

The band last performed in Singapore’s Changi Exhibition Centre in 2013, attracting more than 40,000 metalheads to the show.
WorldWired Asia Tour will first kick off in South Korea, followed by Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Singapore leg will take place on 22 January 2017 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
