Earlier this month, it has been rumoured that British band Coldplay will be coming to Singapore for a concert, and looks like the rumours are true after all!
Now, the quartet rock band have announced on their Facebook page that they will be kicking off their Asian tour in Singapore on 1 April 2017 (let’s hope that this is not an April Fool’s joke!), followed by other Asian countries like Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
The Asian tour will be the band seventh concert tour in support of their latest (and possibly last) studio album, “A Head Full of Dreams”.
Coldplay’s last concert in Singapore was in 2009 during their Viva La Vida tour.
Next year, the band will be returning to Singapore once again to perform at the National Stadium on 1 April, before heading to Manila on 4 April, Taipei on 12 April, Seoul on 15 April and Tokyo on 19 April.
Tickets for Singapore will be available via sportshub.com.sg at the following prices:-
- Seated – SGD78, SGD128, SGD168, SGD268
- Standing – SGD128, SGD228
- VIP Standing – (limited availability) SGD298
Tickets go on sale on 21 November 2016 for Singapore and Tokyo, and 24 November 2016 for the other three cities.
