Chinese singer Jane Zhang has recently released a statement in response to her mother’s claim about her fiancé’s intention in marrying her.

As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who found herself plagued with media attention following her mother’s decision to take the case of her shares in Show City Times to court, stated that she is not an idiot who would be easily cheated by a man.

Despite her mother’s claims that her fiancé, Show City Times’ CEO Feng Ke, is using her for his own financial benefit, Jane said that she has always been careful in managing her own finances, and has never trusted it to Feng.
Jane also claimed that equity change is part and parcel of investments and that there is no issue as Mrs. Zhang has previously claimed.
“The company will continue to have these changes due to the changes in the structure of the demand,” she said.
At the same time, Jane also urged the media not to take advantage of her mother’s emotions.
“She doesn’t know the effect of public opinion. She doesn’t know the consequences of what she is doing. I don’t want her to be harmed. I can understand that she loves me. My family and I will deal with this on our own,” she added.
