Action superstar Jackie Chan has finally addressed previous rumours saying that he fired Eddie Peng from his new movie, “Bleeding Steel”.

As reported on Hi Net, previously, it was reported that Jackie was fed-up with the Taiwanese actor who reportedly delayed production with his many demands, and decided to replace him with Taiwanese singer, Show Luo instead.

Eddie had since denied the rumours, saying that he was never offered a role in the movie in the first place, while “Bleeding Steel” producers claimed that Show has always been the first choice.

Speaking to the media at the movie press conference in Taipei on 1 September, Jackie stated that he knows Eddie really well and has heard nothing but praises about the actor.

“I’ve visited the set of his movie with Sammo Hung, and I heard people say that he is very diligent, very good, and a good example of a professional actor,” said Jackie.

The actor also stated that he was not involved at all with the casting of the movie, which was done by director Leo Zhang.
