Faye Wong’s concert organiser has denied rumours of a hefty price for the songstress’ upcoming concert, “Faye’s Moments Live 2016”.

As reported on People, previously, it was reported that the upcoming show will be a private concert, with the tickets sold at as exorbitant a price as RMB13,888 (USD2,065).

Speaking to the media at the press conference announcing the upcoming concert, the show’s organiser stated that even the most expensive ticket will only be sold at RMB7,800 (USD1,589), with the most affordable at RMB1,800 (USD366).
However, some commented that even the actual price is steeper than most singers.
As for rumours that Faye’s daughter Leah Dou will be performing with her at the show as well, the singer had since denied it, saying that such a duet will never happen.
However, Faye stated that there may be a chance that she will be performing Leah’s songs at the concert, although she has yet to decide on it.
As for future collaborations, the singer admitted that she admires her daughter’s music, and might work with Leah in the future, though at some smaller shows.
