Singapore Food Festival (SFF), the annual event which celebrates Singapore’s best local food and culinary talents, is set to take place next month, 13 to 22 July 2016.
Organised by the Singapore Tourism Board, the event will feature pop-up restaurants, cooking demonstrations and other food-related exciting activities.
Last year, the festival went with the theme, “A Fresh Taste of Tradition” where traditional dishes got contemporary makeovers by celebrity chef Justin Quek.
Various vendors will be serving popular classic and modern local dishes from some of the best hawkers and chefs in Singapore.
SFF 2015 featured modern Singaporean dishes like fresh Pacific Oysters in Ginger Flower Dressing and Gula Java Creme Brûlée, while the famous hawker favourites included Nasi Kerabu and Suckling Pig Sandwich with Salted Vegetable Relish.
Though the theme for this year has not been revealed yet, foodies can look forward to taste some new dishes as well as the signature plates served by the country’s top chefs.
