The Jackie Chan Action Movie Week has announced the winners of its special awards at the recently concluded Shanghai International Film Festival.

As reported on SIFF’s website, “Ip Man 3” bagged the most awards, by winning Best Action Movie, Best Action Movie Director for Wilson Yip, as well as Best Fight Scene.

Yip and “Ip Man 3” producer Raymond Wong accepted the last award on behalf of action choreographer Yuen Woo Ping.
Meanwhile, Best Action Movie Actor was awarded to Hollywood actor Owen Wilson for his role in John Erick Dowdle’s “No Escape”, while Chinese actress Zhang Jingchu won the same award in the female category for her role in “For A Few Bullets”.
The Jackie Chan Action Movie Week awards was established to celebrate international action scenes and honour the people who have made outstanding contributions to the genre.

Best Action Movie: “Ip Man 3”
Best Action Movie Director: Wilson Yip, “Ip Man 3”
Best Action Choreographer: Jon DeVore, “Point Break”
Best Action Movie Actor: Owen Wilson, “No Escape”
Best Action Movie Actress: Zhang Jingchu, “For A Few Bullets”
Best Action Movie New Performer: Han Sang-Hyuk, “Chasing”
Best Action Special Effects: Jeb Corliss, “Point Break”
Best Fight: “Ip Man 3”
