Hong Kong boy band Birds of Paradise (BOP) will be filing a lawsuit against its management companies for a breach of contract.

As reported on Mingpao News, members Ip Ho Kei, Au Chun Yuen and Hui Chun Ho claimed that the companies, Pan Asia Cultural Co and Beijing Ling Gai Fun Cultural and Art Co., failed to divide profits according to their contract, and have even demanded them to do an indecent photoshoot.

The band is calling for the immediate termination of contract and HKD450,000 in damages.
However, the two companies had since denied these allegations, saying that the claim that the members were asked to pose indecently for a photoshoot was exaggerated.
The companies’ legal rep also stated that they are considering a counterclaim, saying that BOP’s allegations against the constitute libel.
