Despite his many Facebook followers and his loyal fans, Taiwanese singer Alien Huang was unsuccessful in getting a large audience for his upcoming concert, “The Shining”, to be held at the Taipei International Convention Centre this 21 May.

As reported on Liberty Times News, even though the tickets have been on sale since 24 March, it was revealed that only 30 percent were sold, and not even the cheapest ticket, priced at NTD800, were sold out.

Fans defended the singer, saying that several artistes are holding their concert on the same day, including Power Station and Ding Dang – which may be the reason why the ticket sales were affected.
However, Alien seemed to be in good spirit despite the situation.
According to his manager, the singer is currently busy rehearsing his dance number and has promised to give his best performance no matter how many people will attend his show.
