Hannah Quinlivan is choosing to ignore Vancl’s CEO Chen Nian’s comment about her husband Jay Chou rather than retaliate with her own harsh words.

According to Net Ease, the Taiwan-based model, who made an appearance at a book signing event for her first photobook, “My Good Machi, Let Me Protect You”, was all smiles when asked about her thoughts on Chen, who called Jay’s music garbage in a previous interview.

“I just think it’s quite irresponsible for him to say these words. But we just ignore him,” she said.
Hannah admitted that she knew her husband didn’t care at all about Chen’s words, since he didn’t even mention the incident to her.
“We’re just going to live every day happily,” she added.
The Vancl CEO sparked the controversy last week when he made a comment on a talk show about his love for the 20th century poet Mu Dan. When the host likened his feeling to younger generation’s love for Jay Chou, Chen expressed his dislike with the comparison, and stated that Mu Dan will be remembered for hundreds of years while Jay Chou will just be “garbage”.
The businessman has also refused to apologise for his comments despite protests from Jay’s fans.
