Starring in the Chinese movie, “Cook Up A Storm”, is going to be a many firsts for CNBLUE frontman and K-pop idol, Jung Yong-hwa, according to Mingpao News.

The singer, who attended the production commencement ceremony of said film in Fushan recently, admitted that not only it will be his first time working with Hong Kong star Nicholas Tse, it is also his first Chinese movie and his first time cooking in one.

“I don’t know how to cook,” Jung admitted. “I didn’t even know how to use the knife before, and would instead use a scissor. But I have recently started practicing with a knife and I am good at making curry.”
When asked if he has tried Nic’s cooking, Jung said he hasn’t yet but hopes to have the opportunity once they start filming.
“I like eating anything and everything. I would eat whatever he cooks. But I also would like to try sweet and sour pork,” he said.
Jung also admitted that he has been practicing his Mandarin with actress Bai Bing, who would help him whenever she has the time. The two of them play a couple in the movie.
