Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung is finally making her comeback in a mainland action film, “Out of Control”.

As reported on CRI News, the actress, who hasn’t been in a new movie for the last four years, will work alongside Big Bang rapper, T.O.P., who is also making his big screen comeback since “Tazza: The Hidden Card”.

“In the movie, I play a weak character who slowly becomes brave and strong. I think my sons will love this role because it brings positive energy. I want them to know that they should be brave when facing danger and difficulties,” she said.
The movie tells the story of a Korean interpol officer who has to save a top Chinese actress trapped in an accident while attending a film festival in Germany.
“Out of Control” is directed by Axel Sand and co-stars Michael Trevino of “The Vampire Diaries” fame.
Cecilia’s last known film was 2012’s “Dangerous Liaisons”. Although she was previously cast in the upcoming Hong Kong fantasy film, “Feng Shen Bang 3D”, Cecilia made headlines when she was fired from the film following allegations of disciplinary issue.
