NBA player Jeremy Lin recently expressed frustration over a joke comedian Chris Rock made about Asian people.

As reported on Sina News, the basketball athlete stated that while he enjoyed Rock’s opening stand-up about the lack of diversity in Hollywood, one joke Rock made was a miss.

Lin expressed his frustration on Twitter, by posting a Washington Post article about Rock’s repertoire at the Academy Awards, and wrote, “Seriously though, when is this going to change? Tired of it being ‘cool’ and ‘okay’ to bash Asians.”
The joke in question is when Rock introduced the supposed accountants from PricewaterhouseCoopers tabulating the vote results, and three Asian kids in a suit came out. He then called them Ming Zu, Bao Ling, and David Moskowitz.
Rock then added, ““If anybody’s upset about that joke, just tweet about it on your phone that was also made by these kids!” – which is also another joke about child labour in Asia.
