Asia’s largest EDM cruise festival, It’s The Ship 2016 (ITS 2016) is back for its third instalment, and is ready to set sail once again for another round of epic music adventure!
For four days and three nights, the floating vacation cum music festival will be departing from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore on 4 November, crossing international waters on the straits of Malacca, to the Pearl of the Orient, Penang, before coming back to Singapore’s shores on 7 November 2016.
This will be the first time ITS 2016 is setting sail to Penang.
Last year, the cruise festival stopped at the Island of Langkawi before returning to Singapore.
Since Penang is known to be the food paradise of Malaysia filled with various heritage sites, Livescape Asia is currently working with the state’s tourism department to provide some exciting surprises in Penang for guests of ITS 2016.
“We’re excited to be bringing IT’S THE SHIP back again for the third time and we’re making a couple of significant changes to provide fans with a refreshed experience. I think when we announce our line-up in May, the fans are going to be pretty excited because we’re looking at some very exciting big and recognisable names this year. No doubt, it is going to be our biggest line-up to date”, Muhammad Iqbal, Group CEO of The Livescape Group said in a statement.
The first phase line-up for ITS 2016 will be announced by the end of May 2016.
Last year, the festival featured big EDM names like Kaskade, Showtek, Ferry Corsten, Carnage, Headhunterz, Will Sparks and Peking Duk, along with 50 other international and regional acts.
Guests will be boarding the prestigious Royal Caribbean International cruise liner, “Mariner of the Seas”, a 15-deck cruise-liner which is one of the world’s largest cruises.
Tickets for ITS 2016 are already on sale, and the pricing starts from USD412 to USD5,888, including early bird prices for 2, 3 and 4 pax.
