Singtel users can now enjoy data-free music streaming with the Singaporean telco’s latest service called Singtel Music, which allows its customers to listen and download as many songs as they want without busting their phone bill payments due to additional data charges!
As the first telco to launch the service, Singtel Music will enable users to subscribe to a premium account from either Spotify, KKBOX or AMPed, and also tune into 13 MeRadio stations, for only SGD7.90 per month with a 12-month contract or SGD9.90 per month with no contract.

Meanwhile, if users were to directly subscribe to Spotify Premium and KKBOX Premium, it’ll cost SGD9.90 per month, which means that users would pay less if they subscribe through Singtel Music.
“Many of our customers are big music fans, but they hold back from listening to music on their smartphones for fear of busting their data allowance. They can now enjoy music on their phones without spending anything on data.” said Ms Diana Chen, vice president of mobile marketing, consumer Singapore, at Singtel, as quoted by Channel News Asia.

To enjoy the free music streaming service, existing users of Spotify, KKBOX and AMPed have to cancel their current subscription before signing up to Singtel Music to avoid double billings.
