Australian singer, songwriter and YouTube sensation William Singe will soon debut his first performance in Malaysia by end of this month at the first ever music-centric flea market in the city called A Sunday Affair (ASA) which will be held at TREC KL.
Singe started his music career as a member of The Collective, an Australian boy band formed during the fourth season of “The X Factor Australia” in 2012.
After winning third place, The Collective subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released seven singles and a self-titled album. However, the group disbanded after Singe left them in 2015.
As a solo artiste, Singe rose to fame as an online personality who record cover tracks of contemporary singers like Justin Bieber, Drake, Adele and The Weeknd. He gained more than two million followers by the end of 2015.
Singe is now signed to Paradigm Talents Agency, a U.S. agency representing Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Sia and Black Eyed Peas among others. He has already started his solo tour, and will be performing in Malaysia for the first time this month to launch the inaugural ASA.
“ASA marks the first collaborative event in a three-part instalment, and it is also a preamble to more such events that would be held at TREC on a regular basis for different audiences,” said TREC managing director Cher Ng as quoted by The Star.
