While his father’s real-estate conglomerate is busy making deals to buy Hollywood film companies, Dalian Wanda heir Wang Sicong is busy collecting K-pop artistes for his management company, Banana Project.

According to Tencent Entertainment, after successfully signing K-pop female group T-ARA, Wang has recently signed another female group, EXID, to his company.

The news was confirmed by EXID producer Shinsadong Tiger, who stated that the group’s activities in China will be managed by Banana Project, although assured that the group is still under YEDANG Entertainment banner.
However, it was noted that the group has no immediate plans to go to China, and that they will be focusing on their schedule in South Korea for the time being.
Wang Sicong, who previously stated that he will be signing more K-pop artistes to his company, has previously been seen at Big Bang’s World Tour concert in Shanghai, sparking rumours that the hottest K-pop group is his next target.
