After her recent concert at Istana Budaya in early November, local singing sensation Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza told TheHive.Asia that she will not be doing a lot of activities until the end of the year and will be focusing more on television programmes.
One of the things she’s looking forward to is Astro’s latest season of the children’s singing competition series, “Ceria Popstar 3” where she will be one of the judges for the competition.
When asked regarding her music career, Siti said that for now she will only be playing small shows and doing photo shoots, but will probably be getting back to speed around mid-next year where she will be releasing a new music album.
Siti had also recently signed with the New York-based music streaming app, Yonder Music, where most of her songs will be available for download via the app.
“Yonder Music is popularly used in foreign countries and I think that this is a great partnership and a lot of local artistes are excited to be a part of it,” said Siti at The Garage KL during the official launch of the Yonder Music app yesterday, 19 November 2015.
“I believe that Yonder Music would be a great platform for the young up and coming artistes in Malaysia and it is a wonderful app that can expand the local music industry,” she added.
When the 36-year-old songstress was asked to clarify the rumour pertaining to her speculated pregnancy, Siti neither confirmed nor denied it.
However, one can deduce that with her involvement in a children’s television programme and her lack of planned activities for the year – this might suggest that the rumour might be true after all.
