Malaysian filmmaker James Lee has bagged a total of 7 awards at Singapore’s Gong Creative Circle Awards 2015, more popularly known as The Gong Show, with his latest heartwarming short film, “Last Day Of School” (爸, 我放学了).
Based on a true story, the touching short film was dedicated to the OrangeAid Future Development Programme by NTUC Income which supports underprivileged children and youth in Singapore.
Lee directed the film along with the creative team of Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) Asia Pacific, the awards he received include:-

- Gold for Branded Content and Entertainment

The annual Gong Creative Circle Awards celebrates the best advertising in Singapore as well as nurturing the development of Singapore advertising.
Starring Evon Chua and Mike Chuah, the film follows a young bright student who has to choose between following her dream and taking care of her disabled father and younger siblings.
The short was released on YouTube last Friday and has already garnered over 483k views and more than 2k likes.
