Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok has been busy rehearsing for his upcoming show at the newly established Studio City Macau, and couldn’t even find time to celebrate his birthday.

Thus, it was surprising indeed for him when a group of his celebrity friends, as well as his beloved mother, came to celebrate his 50th birthday on 26 October.

As reported on Mingpao news, the actor, who just finished his rehearsal last night, was asked by a staff to attend an ordinary birthday dinner with the crew. However, he was surprised to find his mother, as well as his friends including Julian Cheung, Anita Yuen, Miriam Yeung with son Torres, and Chen Jiawei at the venue.
Aside from the birthday celebration, his friends also donated money to the Aaron Kwok Charity Foundation as a gift to him, while several other celebrity friends such as Jacky Cheung, Vivian Chow, Charlie Yeung, and Zhang Ziyi wished him happy birthday via recorded video.
The party, themed 25+25 was held not only to celebrate his 50th birthday but also his 25th anniversary in the music scene.
As for his birthday wish, Aaron said that the most important wish is for his mother’s good health. He also hopes for a breakthrough in his career, as well as to find the right person to settle down with.
Aaron also posted a message online after the celebration, and thanked his mother and friends, as well as the team for giving him an unforgettable birthday party.
