The inaugural Soulfest Asia will soon make its debut this October and R&B singer Omarion has been added to the lineup joining Mary J. Blige, Jhené Aiko, De La Soul, Talin Kweli and other names announced earlier for the festival.
The 30-year-old singer cum actor is a Grammy-nominated singer who spawned the second highest charting single of his career, “Post to Be”, featuring Chris Brown and Jhené Aiko.
Omarion recently released his latest single titled “I’m Up” featuring Kid Ink and French Montana. The music video was released on YouTube last month.
His fifth studio album “Reasons” will soon be released on 23 October 2015, shortly after his performance in Soulfest Asia which will be held on 17 October 2015 at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
There will also be a number of performers from the Asian region at the festival, some of them include; Malaysian soul singer Najwa, Singaporean hip-hopper Shigga Shay, Thai hip-hop group Thaitainium, Indonesian pop singer Raisa, Malaysian R&B princess Ila Damiaa and Joe Flizzow with his entire Kartel family.
