Queen of reggae, Diana King returns to Malaysia once again and is set to perform at two different venues in Malaysia next month!
The 44-year-old Jamaican singer is most known for her one hit wonder “Shy Guy”, one of the soundtracks from the 1995 action comedy “Bad Boys”, her reggae cover version of Dionne Warwicks’ “I Say a Little Prayer” which featured on the soundtrack to the film “My Best Friend’s Wedding”, and also “L-L-Lies” which gets quite a lot of airplay in Malaysia.
Also known as KingSinga by her fans, King is mostly recognised by many due to her deep and powerful vocals, thick Jamaican accent as well as her trademark blend of reggae, R&B, soul and dance in her musical style.
She released her latest album “Agirlnameking” in 2012, which is the upgraded version of her fourth album “Warrior Gurl”.
King visited Malaysia last year for Retrofest 2014 and now, she will entertain Malaysian fans once more at Hard Rock Cafe, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Hard Rock Hotel, Batu Feringghi, Penang on 29 and 31 October 2015 respectively.
