According to CRI News, the 39-year-old recently revealed that he aims to cross territorial and cultural boundaries with his films, and thus the birth of “Rembat” – a movie about two hardcore supporters of the Malaysian national football team.
Singer-songwriter turned actor Ah Niu recently appeared at the Silk Road International Film Festival to promote his new comedy film, “Rembat”.
“The movie is special because Malaysia is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural country. It has the local Malays, people of Chinese origins, and Indian origins,” said Ah Niu.
The movie, co-starring Malaysian actors Shaheizy Sam, Zizan Razak, Sam Chong, and Zara Zya, is set to be released in Malaysia this 8 October.
