Gombak will soon have a brand new mall called M3 Mall (Medan Mega Melati Mall), set to open its doors to the public this coming October 2015.
The RM300 million mall is said to be 200,000sqft and is part of the urban redevelopment initiative between Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and Gerbang Mekar Sdn Bhd.
Situated in Taman Melati, the neighbourhood mall is approximately 100m away from the LRT station and from the scheduled Gombak Integrated Transport Terminal (GITT).
“Malls in the peripherals such as these will help to reduce traffic going into the city as people can shop for their necessities here,” said DBKL Urban Planning director Sharom Ujang as quoted by The Star.
“From a retail perspective, M3 Mall is hot property due to its location, catchment population, accessibility and strong tenant mix coupled with the exciting concept, unique design and enthusiastic response from retailers and the local community,” Gerbang Mekar executive chairman Zaharuddin Saidon added.
The Store will be the main tenant of the mall alongside other shop tenants like Mr DIY, Nagoya Textiles, Texas Chicken, myNEWS.com, GeorgeTown White Coffee, Gintell, Mr Teppanyaki, King’s Confectionery, Maxis, Celcom, U Mobile and more.
