According to Mingpao News, on 10 August, the actress held the grand opening ceremony, with her best friends Nancy Wu, Elaine Yiu, Selena Lee, Mandy Wong, and Paisley Wu playing models for free.
After much anticipation, Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu has finally launched her luxury bridal store, KEVOLIE.
KEVOLIE, a collaboration between Myolie and fashion designer Kev Yiu, cost a seven figure sum – as disclosed by Myolie.
“Money is not more significant than the effort and work we put into it. We have been preparing for it for almost half a year,” said the actress.
Myolie revealed that despite the celebrity brand, her bridal shop is not all expensive. It also provides rental service, customisation, as well as packages for brides-to-be.
KEVOLIE, located in Tsim Sha Tsui, is also neighbours with actor Edmond So’s suit boutique, though Myolie has no plans to compete with it.
“We can cooperate instead. After the groom looks at suits, they can come here and look at dresses for the bride,” she said.
As for her friends who modelled for free, Myolie enthused, “It’s so great that the company let them come. If they’re getting married in the future, I will sponsor them.”
