With a mission to spread Japanese pop culture to the world, Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival is bringing in some famous pop artistes from Japan on a world tour, and is about to make a stop in Singapore this September!

Touring a total of eight cities with Singapore being the fifth, the Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival series which have so far covered Bangkok, Taipei, Los Angeles and San Francisco – have been a huge success.

The Singapore edition will take place on 5 and 6 September at *SCAPE, The Ground Theatre (Level 2), featuring popular Japanese acts such as Yasutaka Nakata, the producer of famous Japanese girl band Perfume and the rising singer cum fashion icon Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Nakata will also bring along his electronica duo Toshiko Koshijima, where both of them formed the famous Japanese electronica duo Capsule.

Aside from that, Kansai singer-songwriter Nagi Yanagi who is famous for the ending theme of anime series ““Ano Natsu wo Matteiru,” will also be part of the line-up.

Other participating artistes include Kz from electro band Livetune – who is also the main producer behind Japan’s Vocaloid music scene, Hachioji P, a new prince in the Vocaloid world, techno band World Order, musical twin sisters Amiaya, pop dance group Tempura Kidz,  as well as model and singer Anna Yano.

All of these performers aim to introduce Japanese fashion, music, anime, food and more to Singaporean J-fans.
