Chinese celebrities are showing solidarity with the victims of the recent Tianjin explosion by spreading awareness and giving huge donations.

As reported on Mingpao News, Fan Bingbing, Huang Xiaoming, Angelababy, Crystal Liu, and Jackie Chan were among the stars who expressed concern about the recent tragedy.

Fan announced through her agency, Fan Bingbing Studio, that it will donate RMB1 million (approximately USD156,250) to the families of the firefighters who died on duty.
Meanwhile, Jackie recently expressed his sadness over the news, saying, “Every time I see firefighters rushing into the flames to protect people’s lives and properties, I feel that they are the real heroes.”
The actor then revealed that he has decided to donate RMB3 million (USD468,845) to the families of the unsung heroes.
Meanwhile, celebrity couple Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy donated RMB2 million (USD312,541) through Huang’s Love Foundation. 
A massive explosion erupted at warehouses containing hazardous chemical materials in Tanjin, China on Wednesday, 12 August, resulting in the death of 50 people that included 17 firefighters. 700 more are currently in treatment in hospitals, with 71 in critical condition, at the time of writing.
