Two bands from America will soon be making their way to Singapore this coming August as part of their Supply World Tour and they are – Californian rock band The Story So Far and New Jersey pop punk band, Man Overboard!
Five-member band The Story So Far is made up of members Parker Cannon (lead vocals), Kelen Capener (bass), Kevin Geyer (guitar & backing vocals), Ryan Torf (drums) and Will Levy (guitar). They have been active in the music scene since 2007.
The band cites their influence to be pop-punk bands like Blink-182, Green Day and The Descendants.
So far, the band has released a handful of EPs and three full-length albums, with the last one being their self-titled third album which was recently released back in May 2015.
Meanwhile, also a five-member band – Man Overboard which consist of Nik Bruzzese (lead vocals & bass guitar), Justin Collier (rhythm guitar & drums), Zac Eisenstein (lead vocals, rhythm guitar & piano), Joe Talarico (drums) and Wayne Wildrick (lead guitar) – sound a little like pop punk acts like Blink-182, Saves the Day and Taking Back Sunday.
They have also released a number of EPs and have recently released their fourth studio album, “Heavy Love” last month.
The two bands will be touring Japan and Australasia with two shows scheduled in Indonesia and Singapore.
Their shows in Singapore will take place at Neverland II @ St. James on 31 August 2015, and the tickets can be purchased via bandsintown.com.
