As reported on Epoch Times, Michelle, who was in Hong Kong for the unveiling ceremony of her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds’ newly launched Kung Fu Zone, stated, “I hope to get married within this year. But since both of us are so busy, it’s hard to find time to prepare for a wedding.”
It has been a very long engagement between Michelle Yeoh and fiancé, ex-CEO of Ferrari Jean Todt, and the actress hopes to finally tie the knot soon.
The couple’s marriage plans were delayed last year, after Michelle’s father, Datuk Yeoh Kian Teik, passed away in November.
For now, the actress admitted that they don’t even have the venue and the official date, though she hopes that the wedding can be held early next year.
“The best thing to do is to get married secretly, and then hold a party with friends. I will inform everyone later on, and we can have a party in Hong Kong.”
Meanwhile, the actress will begin filming ten episodes of a new TV series in August.
