Jay Chou’s fairy tale wedding to model Hannah Quinlivan at England’s Castle Howard in Yorkshire have boosted tourism in the area.

According to Focus Taiwan, the 300-year-old Howard estate was revealed to have had a 400 percent surge in tourist numbers since Jay’s 17 January wedding, with its official website recording over five million visits since then.

Most of these tourists are Asia-based groups, according to the website.
The increased number of tourists could help with its preservation, and Castle Howard’s management has now made several changes to cater to tourists from Asia, including maps and brochures available in Chinese.
The estate’s management also hopes that Jay’s influence will assist them in attracting more antique buyers from Asia.
