Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced that it will begin its subsidiary shuttle service, KTM Intercity from Johor Bahru Sentral to Woodlands in Singapore starting from 1 July 2015 onwards.
The service called the Tebrau Shuttle, is meant to reduce traffic congestion at the Johor Causeway as well as serve commuters who run their business daily between the two countries.
According to a KTM statement obtained by The Rakyat Post, there will be a total of 14 shuttle train services daily, running from JB Sentral to Woodlands Station and back.
The ones from JB Sentral will run from 5.30am to 10pm while the services from Woodlands will start from 6.30am until 11pm.
Also, the one way fare from JB Sentral Station is RM5 while the fare from Woodlands Station is SGD5.
