Chinese actors Zhao Wei and Huang Xiaoming, as well as Hollywood director Justin Lin, were recently given the honour of leaving their handprints at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the three stars attended the event held on 3 June to commemorate the theatre’s 88th birthday.

“I’m just getting started as a filmmaker, so to get this call — it’s a great moment to take the morning and enjoy it with good friends and family,” said Lin, who flew to Los Angeles from Vancouver, where he was working on “Star Trek 3”.
Meanwhile, Huang Xiaoming expressed his happiness, saying, “15 years ago, Zhao Wei and I were studying in Beijing, and now we’re standing here together. I am very happy.”
According to Alwyn Hight Kushner, the president and COO of the TCL Chinese Theatres, the event was a great opportunity to showcase the cooperation between China and Hollywood in the making and distributing of movies worldwide.
Chinese stars who have left their hand prints at the location include Jackie Chan, Feng Xiaogang, and John Woo.
