Yelp, the famous platform which allows users to find great local business or submit their own reviews, is now officially available in Malaysia.
The US-based multinational corporation made its debut in Malaysia yesterday and the office is located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur at the Petronas Tower.
Yelp’s new markets vice president Miriam Warren said that the site is often misunderstood as a review platform for just food or restaurants, but it is actually more than that.
“Basically you can review anything on Yelp with a physical address including a public swimming pool, or a park, for you here in Malaysia, a mamak, which is one of the new categories we’ve started to create for Malaysia.
“Nasi lemak is another one, we know it’s important to you guys and we want to make sure it will be available to users living in Malaysia and visiting Malaysia,” said Miriam as quoted by MalayMail.
The Yelp app is available on both Android and iOS. If you wish to search for more information, visit en.yelp.my.
