Malaysian-born international actress, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh, and world-renowned Malaysian fashion designer, Datuk Jimmy Choo, graced the campaign image for the launch of British Airways’ flights to Malaysia with a Cinderella-inspired photoshoot in Kuala Lumpur along with English model, Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Rolling Stones’ lead singer Mick Jagger.
Set against Malaysia’s iconic landmark skyscraper, the Petronas Twin Towers, Yeoh looked absolutely stunning, standing gracefully and looking poised as she donned a beautiful blue-coloured evening gown of her own, which looks a lot like the gown colour of the recent “Cinderella” movie.
Meanwhile, Jagger was elegantly seated in a British Airways’ Club World business cabin seat, wearing a Temperley London “Long Sand Goddess Dress” in almond, as Choo, who is in a suit by Lord’s Tailor, carefully slipped on a glass shoe – specially designed for the occasion – on Jagger’s foot.
“Being a proud Malaysian, it has been such a pleasure to support British Airways as they begin services to Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia has so much to offer those looking for new business and investment opportunities, or a memorable holiday destination for a few weeks,” said Choo as quoted by NST.
Yeoh also added, “Malaysia is the place I call home so I think it’s tremendous British Airways have launched a new route linking London and Kuala Lumpur. There’s so much to see and do here, be it visiting the historic monuments dotted around the city, tasting the mouth-watering delicacies served at our famous street food markets or wandering one of the many art galleries.”
To commemorate the inauguration, British Airways is offering special fares to London, UK and Europe from Kuala Lumpur starting from just RM3,088 for travel between 28 May and 30 November. The fares are valid for booking until 16 June 2015.
