The iconic Japanese feline Hello Kitty – whose identity as cat was pretty much a hot debated subject previously – will now have its very first Hello Kitty themed Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong which will be the first of its kind in the world!
The restaurant which is called Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine, will serve a variety of famous Chinese dishes inspired from the adorable anthropomorphic white cat, such as Hello Kitty-shaped steam buns, dumplings, dim sum, glutinous rice and also stir-fry noodles topped with a scrambled egg which is shaped like Hello Kitty’s iconic bow. The dishes look absolutely adorable and mouth-watering!
“Hello Kitty is more popular in Hong Kong than in [her native] Japan,” said restaurant owner Man Kwong as quoted by TIME.
With over 35 Hello Kitty inspired Chinese dishes, the restaurant will surely spark Chinese food cravings among Hello Kitty fans.
Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine restaurant will officially open its doors this June. So if you are a hardcore Hello Kitty fan, make sure to put this place on your must-visit list when you visit Hong Kong.
